We are fully licenced, holding a well deserved '5-star' rating from Cheshire West & Cheshire Council.

The Grumbles Retreat our is made up of Peanut, Poppet, Mavis & Mimi. Peanut is a tri-pug who does exceptionally well on walks, but is also very good at conning Daddy for a carry in her little sling (any excuse for a cuddle!) Poppet is definitely the sensible big sister to everyone, she is very reserved, but so loving and loyal! Mavis is

Peanut is a tri-pug who does exceptionally well on walks, but is also very good at conning Daddy for a carry in her little sling (any excuse for a cuddle!) Poppet is definitely the sensible big sister to everyone, she is very reserved, but so loving and loyal! Mavis is a rescue from the PDWRA and suffers with epilepsy. However with lots of love, and routine with her medication she is now doing brilliantly. Such a fun little girl. Last but not least we have our little Mimi pug, who is the oldest, but who is always out at the front leading the walks! Mimi is also a PDWRA rescue, and is Mavis’s mummy. We love them all so much, we have no children, so they are our absolute babies.

Our Home is a truly secluded, loving and safe environment for your pug to stay. We are located in Ness, Cheshire. Opposite the beautiful Ness Botanic Gardens. Our Home is a truly secluded, loving and safe environment for your pug to stay. We are located in Ness, Cheshire. Opposite the beautiful Ness Botanic Gardens. We purchased our 4.5 acres of land about five years ago, and have since worked hard to create the haven that it is now. The environment is magically peaceful, and calm. You may even find some fairies in our garden! The fully secure and enclosed main garden is large, with lots of shade and areas perfect for sniffs and snuffles, cuddles and snoozes!
Within our land we have created our ‘wooded puggy walk’ which takes you safely round the outside of our fields, and back down our drive. Just perfect for any pugs with disabilities or pugs that may be a little older.
We have fab security with a long private drive with intercom, and home camera system. Your pug will have 24/7 care – They will never be left on their own.
